You really have to look at the whole process of what has to happen to a document once it has been received, the main things to consider are:

• Are all of the contents the same?
• Do the documents need to be date / time stamped?
• Are the documents going to be scanned straight away?
• Do you have deadlines to consider?
• How many people are there to open the mail?
• What are the consequences of missing your deadlines?
